The Al Baha drawings shown here are a selection from over 60 drawings executed while living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the early 1990's. I accompanied my husband who was employed by the Saudi Ministry of Health to this remote region in the Sarawat Mountains, about a five hour drive up from Jeddah on the Red Sea. Because photographs were forbidden in the Kingdom, my self appointed mission was to observe and record what I could remember seeing.

The complete group of drawings have been kept together and are available for exhibit as a body of work that depicts this remote region of Arabia and its people during that period of time.
